Debbie Brown, Ed.D

Director, Research

Debbie Brown is the Director, Research, at Emergenetics International. In this role, she is

responsible for creating the research and development procedures and techniques to

assess the positive impact of Emergenetics in schools and workplaces across the globe.

Her research interests include social neuroscience, equity and diversity practices,

employee engagement, leadership and social-emotional learning.

In addition, Debbie is an Emergenetics Master Associate. She has facilitated hundreds of

workshops with educators, business leaders and teams, empowering them to use Thinking

and Behavioral insights to strengthen their leadership skills, improve curriculum design

and create engaging, inclusive work environments.

Prior to joining Emergenetics, Debbie served in education for 34 years as a classroom

teacher, principal and building administrator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in

Elementary Education from Bloomburg University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts

in Supervision and Administration from the University of Phoenix. She earned her

Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University

of Denver.
